Message	alignment tool and the tranny shaft will fit. Isn't the alignment tool the same size as the tranny shaft to begin with? If the tool didn't fit, I'd be looking at the installed bushing for a lip or other damage from installation. I'd measure and compare the tranny shaft to the installed bushing before trying to install the tranny.
